Yacob Bonifacio is a fashion and commercial photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah, whose photographs center around form, light, and narrative.
Creating editorial, portrait, and brand-driven imagery, he approaches the human figure sculpturally, with styling, lighting, and pose as key elements. His background in both analog and digital processes informs a visual language defined by strong contrast and atmosphere, while maintaining a raw edge that resists over-polish. Influenced by early photographic techniques and contemporary fashion aesthetics, as well as the visual boldness of brands and publications such as Alaia, Phoebe Philo, Jil Sander, and Numero. Imagery that feels timeless but confrontational.
His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has appeared in publications and collaborative projects that situate his practice within both contemporary art and fashion contexts.
